STRUGGLING TO FIND A JOB?

The picture attached to this post is a screenshot from a moment when I was traveling through a mountainous area in dense fog, with limited visibility ahead. The image mirrors my circumstances in life at that moment, also. 

I was unemployed and had just driven nearly two hours to a potential job opportunity, only to find it a wasted effort. 

I could not see any hope for myself in the future due to numerous failed attempts to land employment. However, what I didn’t realize was that God had a plan for me and, in his timing, he would open a door for me. 

During this time, I engaged in prayer, spent time with other followers of Jesus who encouraged me, and I continued to complete numerous job applications. 

Eventually, God opened a door for me that was not what I wanted, and it was part-time, but I embraced it, and throughout the years ahead, better opportunities came, and my situation changed significantly. 

If you are in a phase of life where you are experiencing a struggle to find employment, don’t give up or give in to hopelessness. God has an opportunity for you, and in his timing, a door will open for you. It may not be what you wanted, but take it and work diligently. 

The path before us is often unclear, which can at times spark feelings of panic and uncertainty, but even when the densest clouds cover our path, God is ahead, making a way for us. Trust God and keep moving forward.
